For self-contained
units
1. Remove ACCU-FORK
/ TINE-GUIDE from the package.
2.
Decide where you want to mount it on the forklift carriage. (Left, Right, or
Center).

3. Hook
the bottom of the
ACCU-FORK/ TINE-GUIDE to the bottom of the carriage and
the top up flush against the carriage.
4. Using the allen wrench, tighten the two bolts down
against the groove on the back side of the carriage. |

5. Remove battery
pack from package and insert into housing with the plug in the
upright position.
6. Plug the battery
pack in using the plug on the battery pack and the plug hanging
inside the housing.
(Laser should
come on and stay on a couple minute, this allows the laser to reset itself.)
7. Attach
the Velcro cover to the other side.
8. The laser
will come on when movement occurs and go out about 4 minutes after
movement stops.
Aligning ACCU-FORK / TINE GUIDE

1. Lay something flat across the tips of the forks for adjusting
laser height.

2. The laser light should be adjusted until it shoots just under
the edge of the box, thus being in alignment with the tips of
the tines.

3. Use the supplied allen wrench to adjust the set screw (on the
bottom of the ACCU-FORK housing).
Re-Charging
ACCU-FORK/ TINE-GUIDE Battery
1. Remove battery cover from the ACCU-FORK housing.
2. Unplug battery and remove it from the unit.
3. Connect battery to appropriate plug on the charging unit.
4. Connect the plug from transformer to the other plug on the charging
unit.
5. Plug transformer into an 110VAC outlet. (Overseas
Customers must use the
appropriate transformer for their electrical current requirements).
6. The LED should start blinking. After a brief period, the LED will
remain solid.
7. 80% Charge time is approximately 4 hours.
8. The charger
will trickle charge the battery to full charge after
about 4 additional
hours.
9. Disconnect the transformer from the outlet.
10. Disconnect the battery from the charging unit.
11. Replace battery in the ACCU-FORK housing
12. Reconnect battery.
Note: Charging of the battery pack should be done in a cool,
dry area with adequate ventilation.
This helps increase the life of the batteries. |
